Nominations for all awards should include a cover letter including contact information and reason for the nomination, as well as a vitae for the nominee. In the case of the student awards, please also submit the title and accepted abstract for the thesis, and a letter of support from the research supervisor (do NOT submit the full thesis please, just the abstract).

IMPORTANT NOTE: All award recipients are expected to attend and present abstracts at the annual meeting of the CPA the following June (abstracts typically due October). The nomination letter should acknowledge this expectation and indicate willingness of the nominee to attend and present.

CPA Traumatic Stress Psychologist of the Year: This award recognizes recent achievement within the science and practice of the psychology of traumatic stress by a psychologist(s) within the past 12 months. Applications by more than one psychologist, as a team of researchers or practitioners, will also be accepted.
