What can you as an individual practitioner, student, researcher, faculty member or Canadian do to advance funding and support for service delivery, post-secondary education and research in psychology?

  1. Write a letter to the candidate in your riding and ask him or her about funding for post-secondary education, research and/or health service in psychology. This can be done by writing a letter that can be copied and sent to candidates across the country using the resources on this Advocacy Online page.
  2. When the national news media calls for comments or questions about the election, write in and ask about post-secondary education, research and/or service delivery.
  3. Attend debates and ask candidates questions about psychological service, education and research.
  4. Become active in a campaign. Volunteer your time or make a donation.
