If there is a topic that that you would like information to be available about, please contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/cpa.ca\/fr\/sections\/\">Section Chair<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"new\">NOUVEAU<\/span> Qu\u2019est-ce qui rend une affiche scientifique attrayante en psychologie?<\/h4>\n<p><em><strong>Un guide cr\u00e9\u00e9 par la Dre Karen Rowa, la Dre Nina Josefowitz, et les \u00e9tudiantes de McMaster Sydney Parkinson, Arij Alarachi et Rei Jamali-far<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nPr\u00e9senter le fruit de ses recherches lors d\u2019un congr\u00e8s est un incontournable de la diffusion des connaissances. Deux des autrices (KR et NJ) ont eu le privil\u00e8ge d\u2019\u00eatre juges de pr\u00e9sentations par affiches dans diff\u00e9rents contextes au cours de leur carri\u00e8re de plusieurs d\u00e9cennies. Nous avons r\u00e9cemment agi comme juges dans le cadre d\u2019un congr\u00e8s national. Assises autour d\u2019un caf\u00e9, nous avons discut\u00e9 de ce qui fait qu\u2019une affiche est convaincante, int\u00e9ressante et bien pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e. Nous nous sommes rendu compte que les directives existantes ne rendaient pas pleinement compte de ce qui nous attire vers certaines affiches plut\u00f4t que d\u2019autres. Nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de cr\u00e9er un exemple qui, nous l\u2019esp\u00e9rons, fournira quelques indications aux personnes int\u00e9ress\u00e9es. Cet article pr\u00e9sente l\u2019exercice et nos r\u00e9flexions.<\/p>\n<p>Une chose \u00e9tait claire pour l\u2019\u00e9quipe : nous savions ce qui caract\u00e9rise une affiche non convaincante ou mal communiqu\u00e9e \u2013 une affiche que nous aurions probablement ignor\u00e9e lors d\u2019une s\u00e9ance d\u2019affichage tr\u00e8s anim\u00e9e! Par chance, la premi\u00e8re autrice (KR) poss\u00e9dait quelques exemples du d\u00e9but de sa carri\u00e8re qui correspondaient \u00e0 ces crit\u00e8res. Lorsqu\u2019elle a con\u00e7u ses premi\u00e8res affiches, elle cherchait \u00e0 y inclure toutes les informations, sans se pr\u00e9occuper de la mani\u00e8re dont les donn\u00e9es \u00e9taient pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es. L\u2019affiche ci-dessous, qui date de cette \u00e9poque, manque d\u2019attrait visuel, est trop charg\u00e9e en texte et ne guide pas les lecteurs vers les aspects importants de l\u2019\u00e9tude ou des conclusions. Comprenez-nous bien : l\u2019\u00e9tude reste int\u00e9ressante, mais sa pr\u00e9sentation pourrait \u00eatre am\u00e9lior\u00e9e. Pour \u00e9tablir une comparaison, trois autrices (SP, AA et RJ) ont utilis\u00e9 un logiciel r\u00e9cent et ont actualis\u00e9 l\u2019affiche pour la rendre plus accessible et susceptible d\u2019attirer l\u2019attention des participants au congr\u00e8s lorsqu\u2019ils d\u00e9ambulent dans les multiples rang\u00e9es d\u2019affiches int\u00e9ressantes pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Lorsqu\u2019on compare les deux versions, on remarque des diff\u00e9rences importantes dans la version actualis\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La quantit\u00e9 de texte est r\u00e9duite, ce qui permet aux lecteurs de mieux assimiler le contenu dans un d\u00e9lai raisonnable, tout en conservant les points essentiels de chaque section.<\/li>\n<li>En r\u00e9duisant la quantit\u00e9 de texte, la taille de la police peut \u00eatre augment\u00e9e, ce qui am\u00e9liore la lisibilit\u00e9. Il est important de pouvoir lire facilement au moins les titres \u00e0 une distance d\u2019au moins un m\u00e8tre.<\/li>\n<li>Le mod\u00e8le utilis\u00e9 est color\u00e9 et attrayant. Certains chercheurs h\u00e9siteront \u00e0 utiliser quelque chose d\u2019aussi audacieux, un point de vue valable et personnel. Cependant, le principe de base consiste \u00e0 dire qu\u2019un peu de couleur et de motifs valent mieux que rien du tout.<\/li>\n<li>Gr\u00e2ce aux codes QR, il est maintenant possible d\u2019acc\u00e9der facilement \u00e0 des informations importantes, mais difficiles \u00e0 int\u00e9grer. This knowledge translation project was funded by a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Community Support Grant from the Institute of Gender and Health, with additional support from Dr. Daniel Grace, the Canada Research Chair in Sexual and Gender Minority Health at the University of Toronto. This website was created as a tool to <strong>help gay, bisexual, queer and other guys into guys learn more about the social factors affecting their mental health<\/strong>. It offers great navigation tips on how to access and to evaluate mental health care supports in Ontario and functions as well as an advocacy tool to expand mental health services for sexual minorities.
