Par exemple, pour maintenir leur agr\u00e9ment, les psychologues doivent effectuer un certain nombre d\u2019activit\u00e9s de perfectionnement professionnel continu chaque ann\u00e9e, le nombre d\u2019heures de formation requis variant selon la province.<\/p>\n<p>Cr\u00e9\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;interne ou en partenariat, le catalogue de perfectionnement professionnel de la SCP comprend pr\u00e8s de 200 cours, avec de nouveaux cours ajout\u00e9s chaque mois; d&#8217;une grande vari\u00e9t\u00e9 et d&#8217;une vaste port\u00e9e, les sujets couverts sont utiles aux psychologues de tous horizons et \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9tapes de leur carri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"display: inline-block;\">Programme de formation continue en acc\u00e8s illimit\u00e9<\/h3>\n<p>Le <strong>programme de formation continue en acc\u00e8s illimit\u00e9<\/strong> de la SCP offre aux membres un acc\u00e8s pratique, toute l\u2019ann\u00e9e, \u00e0 un catalogue complet et en expansion de cours de perfectionnement professionnel. Moyennant des frais annuels uniques, les participants ont acc\u00e8s \u00e0 tous les cours de formation continue en ligne propos\u00e9s via la plateforme VocalMeet.<\/p>\n<p>Le programme, qui comporte actuellement plus de 30\u00a0cours, offre quatre nouvelles formations. Du nouveau contenu sera ajout\u00e9 r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement en collaboration avec des partenaires d\u2019\u00e9laboration de contenu. Des mises \u00e0 jour de plusieurs de nos cours les plus demand\u00e9s sont \u00e9galement en \u0153uvre afin de s\u2019assurer que le contenu est conforme aux normes et aux publications actuelles.<\/p>\n<p>De nombreux cours sont offerts en fran\u00e7ais et en anglais et sont accessibles \u00e0 la demande; les membres peuvent donc adapter leur perfectionnement professionnel \u00e0 leur emploi du temps et leurs pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences en mati\u00e8re d\u2019apprentissage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tarification et acc\u00e8s<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les frais d&#8217;abonnement annuels des membres pour le programme CE illimit\u00e9 sont de 525 $. In response, Gwendolyn Villebrun developed an Indigenous women\u2019s healing from sexual trauma circle in partnership with the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton in 2020. Rooted in ceremony and guided by an Elder, the Circle offers a space to support Indigenous women\u2019s (re)connections to culture and healing from trauma. This webinar is directed towards psychologists, healthcare workers, and organizations who serve Indigenous peoples and communities. These professionals hold an essential role in supporting the healing journeys of Indigenous women. The Calls for Justice serve as a vital guide for approaching this work in culturally safe and meaningful ways.<br \/>\n<strong>Brief Bio:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Gwendolyn Villebrun (she\/her) is Dene\/M\u00e9tis, a member of K\u2019atl\u2019odeeche First Nation, and a registered psychologist since 2005. She resides in amiskwac\u00eew\u00e2skahikan (Edmonton, Alberta), treaty six territory, and has worked in multiple community settings, serving predominately urban First Nations, those impacted by the Indian Residential Schools, and children who have experienced abuse. She is an Assistant Professor in the counselling psychology program in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta and her research interests are the mental health and wellbeing of Indigenous women, particularly in the areas of infertility\/childlessness, historical trauma, sexual violence, and Indigenous approaches to wellness.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Indigenous Awareness Canada Courses<\/h2>\n<p>The CPA has partnered with Indigenous Awareness Canada to provide valuable Indigenous education content at a significant discount to CPA members. These courses are designed to help you and your organization, build positive, respectful, and effective relationships with Indigenous people in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>The courses are available individually, or in packages. Please note that to do any of the 300-level courses, you must first complete Course 201. You will not receive a certificate upon completion of the level 101 course, only for courses at the 201 level and above.\u00a0<strong>These courses do not carry CPA CE credits.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The five available workshops are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>101 Indigenous Awareness Introduction<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Indigenous Awareness Introduction course is a stand-alone highly abridged version of the widely-recognized Certification course. This comprehensive and information-rich course offers important foundational knowledge, background, and context.\u00a0 It takes about 4-8 hours to complete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>301 Indigenous Peoples and Cultures<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Indigenous Peoples and Cultures course builds from the foundation-level Certification course and continues to develop the ideas, issues, awareness, and context. It takes about 2-5 hours to complete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>311 Indigenous Communication &amp; Consultation<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Indigenous Communication &amp; Consultation course builds from the foundation-level Certification course with special focus on engagement and interaction. It takes about 2-5 hours to complete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>321 Indigenous Employment Outreach, Recruit, and Retain<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Indigenous Employment Outreach, Recruit, and Retain course builds from the foundation-level Certification course with special focus on company culture and employment considerations.<\/p>\n<p>The cost is normally $128 per course.
