Le Comit\u00e9 des services aux membres a pour mandat d\u2019accro\u00eetre le recrutement de nouveaux membres et la fid\u00e9lisation des membres et des affili\u00e9s de la SCP dans ces trois domaines : science, \u00e9ducation et formation, et pratique.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Objectifs :<\/h4>\n<\/td>\n

Veiller \u00e0 ce que la SCP fournisse des services de haute qualit\u00e9 \u00e0 ses membres.<\/p>\n

Assurer une coh\u00e9rence entre les strat\u00e9gies de recrutement de nouveaux membres et les objectifs globaux de la SCP.<\/p>\n

Accro\u00eetre la fid\u00e9lisation des membres et le recrutement de nouveaux membres.<\/p>\n

\u00c9valuer l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 des activit\u00e9s de recrutement et de fid\u00e9lisation.<\/p>\n

Accro\u00eetre l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de la base de donn\u00e9es des membres afin de fournir des donn\u00e9es plus compl\u00e8tes pour mieux informer les strat\u00e9gies de fid\u00e9lisation et de recrutement.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Accountability<\/h4>\n

The Membership Committee reports to the Board of Directors through the Director Responsible for Membership, who is also the Committee Chair.<\/p>\n

Membership<\/h4>\n

The Membership Committee is composed of the Director Responsible for Membership and those CPA members who volunteer or who are invited to sit on the Committee by the Chair.<\/p>\n

Committee Size and Activity<\/h4>\n

CPA committees are important membership recruitment and retention vehicles. The goal of each committee chair is to recruit a maximum of 10 committee members from a diverse cross section of CPA members. The Committee needs to be active, with communications occurring at a frequency of once a month at a minimum. Committee membership is a good training and recruitment tool for senior positions within the Association and Committee members are excellent informed ambassadors for CPA and about CPA\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities of Committee Members<\/h4>\n

The Membership Committee members are responsible for pursuing the vision and terms of reference of the Committee.\u00a0To this effect, members participate in all discussions pertaining to membership and work on projects or issues brought forward by the Committee, the Board of Directors, the sections and the members as appropriate.<\/p>\n

Membership Term<\/h4>\n

Committee members are appointed by the Board of Directors through the Board member responsible for the Committee for one year with the intention that members will serve for a three (3) year term. Membership recruitment and retirement is staggered to ensure continuity and Committee institutional memory.<\/p>\n

Meetings and Reporting<\/h4>\n

Throughout the year communication will take place primarily through e-mail. Conference calls will be arranged by the Chair.\u00a0Meetings are minuted.\u00a0Regular communication of the plans and activities of the Committee will be provided to the membership through the Committee\u2019s Annual Report to the Annual General Meeting, articles in Psynopsis and information on the web site and to the Board of Directors through reports to each Board meeting by the Committee Chair\/Co-Chair.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
