Dr. Sara Pishdadian is a graduate of York University\u2019s Adult Clinical Psychology PhD program in the Neuropsychology stream and The Ottawa Hospital\u2019s Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology stream predoctoral internship. Her practice areas are Clinical Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology working with adults and seniors. Clinically, she has worked in private practice, The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), and West Park Healthcare Centre, a rehabilitation hospital part of University Health Network (UHN). She is an assistant professor in the Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology programs at York University and director of the Cognition, Lasting Outcomes, Symptom Evaluation and Rehabilitation (CLOSER) Neuropsychology Lab<\/a>. <\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Lisa Lejbak<\/strong>, Ph. D., R. Psych.

Dr. Lisa Lejbak is a Member-at-Large of the Clinical Neuropsychology section. She is a Registered Doctoral Psychologist in Saskatchewan with lifespan clinical neuropsychology competencies. She completed clinical training with a PhD from the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan (2010), a pre-doctoral residency program in clinical neuropsychology, and post-graduate training in clinical neuropsychology, including an organized fellowship.<\/em><\/p>\n

She divides her time among pediatric clinical neuropsychology services at the Saskatchewan Health Authority and as Associate Registrar for the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists. She also maintains a small private practice. She continues to be involved in research, teaching, and clinical supervision, including the role of Rotation Coordinator for the Neuropsychology Track at the Saskatoon and area pre-doctoral residency program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Nicol\u00e1s Francisco Narvaez Linares<\/strong>, Ph.D., C.Psych.

Dr. Nicol\u00e1s F. Narvaez Linares brings a unique perspective to his work as a trilingual and bicultural individual, enriching his approach to understanding diverse needs. He has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Child, Adolescent, and Family Services, along with a specialization in Behavioural Neurosciences from the University of Ottawa. He is registered with the provinces of Ontario (CPBAO) and Qu\u00e9bec (OPQ) in the areas of Clinical Neuropsychology, Clinical Psychology and School Psychology. He completed postdoctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). He is currently the Clinical Director of Neurodevelopmental and Psychological Service Centre de services psychologiques et neurod\u00e9veloppementaux (NPSCSPN) and teaches at the undergraduate and graduate level at the University of Ottawa. Beyond clinical practice, he actively contributes to professional associations, furthering the advancement of the field of psychology.<\/em><\/p>\n

Dr. Amir A. Sepehry<\/strong>, MSc, PhD

Dr. Sepehry has extensive training as a scientist-practitioner. He completed his doctoral training by combining works from the University of Victoria (UVIC) and the University of British Columbia (UBC). Completed a Postdoctoral training in neurology at UBC, and forensic neuropsychology. He has published nearly 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts, book chapters, and encyclopedias chapters, link<\/a>. Before his doctoral training, Dr. Sepehry completed a master\u2019s program in psychiatric sciences\/pharmacology at the Universite de Montreal (In French). Dr. Sepehry is currently teaching at Adler University (Vancouver) as an assistant professor of clinical psychology, and adjunct professor of counselling psychology. Dr. Sepehry serves at the CPA as the psychopharmacology section chair, and Chair of the Council of Sections. He is currently the BCPA past-president.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Simritpal K. Malhi<\/strong>, Ph.D., C. Psych.

DrDr. Malhi completed her doctoral degree at the University of Windsor, residency at the London Clinical Psychology Residency Consortium, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital. She is a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist with the Tory Trauma Recovery Clinic at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and an assistant professor\/affiliated scientist with the University of Toronto Department of Psychiatry. She conducts research in the area of traumatic brain injury.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Michelle Beaupr\u00e9<\/strong>, Ph. D., C. Psych.

Dr. Michelle Beaupr\u00e9 holds a Ph.D. in neuropsychology from the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al. She completed her pre-doctoral residency at the London Health Sciences Centre. She has conducted research on cognitive recovery following mild traumatic brain injury.<\/em><\/p>\n

Clinically, she has worked in various hospital units, including neurology, epilepsy, psychiatry, child psychiatry, and general medicine, across Ontario and Quebec. She has also worked as a consultant in the field of assessment within the federal public service.<\/p>\n

Currently, Dr. Beaupr\u00e9 provides neuropsychological assessment services to children, adolescents, and young adults in the private sector in Ottawa. She is passionate about empowering individuals and families by helping them better understand their brain and functioning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Sarah Lade<\/strong>, Ph. D., C. Psych.

Dr. Sarah Lade is a Registered Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She maintains a dual practice at Genest MacGillivray Psychologists, where she conducts independent neuropsychological and psychodiagnostic assessments for third-party insurers and Workers\u2019 Compensation, in addition to providing individual psychotherapeutic services to treatment clients. She also holds a part-time position with Nova Scotia Health\u2019s Community Mental Health and Addictions program.<\/em><\/p>\n

Dr. Lade holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from McMaster University, with advanced clinical training completed through the Saskatoon and Region Predoctoral Residency and Fellowship Program, including major rotations in general neuropsychology and epilepsy. She is actively involved in professional governance, serving on the Canadian Psychological Association\u2019s Committee on Ethics working group, and regularly provides supervision and mentorship to clinical psychology trainees.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n

Vanessa Correia is a doctoral student in the Clinical Neuropsychology program at the University of Windsor. Broadly, her research interests lie in traumatic brain injury, symptom reporting, sleep, and aging. Prior to beginning her graduate studies, Vanessa completed her B.A. (Hons) at Concordia University in Montreal, then worked as a neuropsychology research assistant at both Concordia and McGill University. As a first-generation student, she is passionate about offering mentorship to aspiring neuropsychologists at the undergraduate level and advocating for the needs of current and future trainees across Canada. When not studying or working, Vanessa enjoys volunteering as an active listener, going for walks, thrifting, spending time with her cats, and watching psychological thrillers.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hayley Turner is a graduate student at the University of Manitoba, currently enrolled in the Clinical Psychology program. She earned her B.Sc. (Honours) in Psychology also at the University of Manitoba, graduating in 2025. Primarily, Hayley is interested in examining the intersection of neuropsychological health and neurodegenerative disorders, particularly multiple sclerosis. Using neuroimaging methods, her research focuses on how the functional connectivity of the brain is associated with anxiety and depression in individuals with multiple sclerosis, aiming to better understand disease pathology and the neural impact of such psychiatric comorbidities. She is excited to promote and support the student perspective as part of the section\u2019s executive. Outside of academics, Hayley enjoys being physically active, volunteering, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Katherine Mordi is a B.Sc. Honours in Psychology student at York University, with a concentration in Neuropsychology and Applied Statistics. She is fascinated by how neurodegenerative diseases, comorbidities, and systemic factors can influence cognition and behavior, and hopes to explore these topics in her future career. Katherine is excited to connect students interested in clinical neuropsychology with professionals in the field and help them learn more about the discipline.
