The Development Psychology Section (DPS) is organized to advance our knowledge in Developmental Psychology (DP), to influence public policy, and to provide opportunities for professional, educational, and societal development in our area.<\/p>\n
Members are active on DPNet (Electronic Connections for Developmentalists)<\/strong>, which is an electronic service for disseminating relevant information to all Developmentalists at all locations. General information about joining the listserv can be found at https:\/\/carleton.ca\/pickeringcentre\/dpnet\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Development 2022<\/strong>, a Canadian Conference on Developmental Psychology hosted by the Pickering Centre for Research in Human Development, will precede the\u00a0CPA’s Annual Convention<\/a>\u00a0at the Hyatt Regency in Calgary, Alberta on June 15th \u2013 16th, 2022. \u00a0This two day event will feature an exciting line up of keynote speakers, symposia, posters, lightning talks, and will conclude with the special presentation of the 2022 Pickering Award for Outstanding Contributions to Research in Human Development. \nAll CPA Developmental Section members who are student (undergraduate or graduate) or postdoctoral researchers and who have submitted an abstract for presentation of developmental research at this year’s conference are eligible to apply. Full application criteria and instructions are available here<\/a>.
