Psychophysiological processes related to neuroplasticity include, but are not limited to quantitative electroencephalography (qEEG), peripheral biofeedback, EEG biofeedback (neurofeedback), hemoencephalography, and evoked potentials. Neurofeedback includes both surface or scalp training, and training using Low Resolution Electromagnetic Tomography (LORETA). In addition, Heart Rate Variability training is gaining significant interest and is included as a topic within this section, as is pulsed electromagnetic field stimulation.
