Towards that end, the Section will:\n\n\n<ol>\n \t\n\n<li>Provide a social support network for retired psychologists within CPA<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Provide information to members about planning for retirement, and what one needs to know to prepare for the next stage of life<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Determine ways to maintain connections to the discipline of psychology while not actively practicing in it<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Research the literature and possibly publish articles in the area of seniors and retirement<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Explore issues impacting seniors, such as downsizing, living arrangements, health and caregiver issues, use of leisure time<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Discuss the value of, and ways to become involved in, volunteerism in the community<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Represent the interests of the Section within CPA through initiating such activities as position papers, guidelines, policy statements, and special meetings<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Organize sessions at the CPA Convention that are of interest to members<\/li>\n\n\n<\/ol>\n\n\n&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"parent":2692,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-3765","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.9 -
