Unfortunately, we are NOT hosting a pre-conference in 2025.----><\/p>\n<p>Please contact <a href=\"mailto:Sections@cpa.ca\">Sections@cpa.ca<\/a> if you are interested in getting involved.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"display: inline-block;\">Mission:<\/h4>\n<p>The section exists to further research in Social and Personality Psychology and to foster relationships among Canadian researchers in these areas. The section organizes a one-day pre-conference to the annual meeting of the Canadian Psychological Association. The line-up of speakers is always stellar, and the pre-conference offers students and faculty a smaller venue for presentation and interaction prior to the larger meeting. The section also sends out monthly announcements. As well, our section aims to recognize student excellence.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><!----\n\n\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/cpa.ca\/fr\/?page_id=3985\">Social and Personality Section Pre-Conference 2024<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\nThe Social &amp; Personality section will be hosting a pre-conference on\u00a0<strong>Thurs. June 20, 2024<\/strong>, in Ottawa at the Westin Ottawa (day before the main CPA convention begins). In addition to the invited speakers, we are also hosting a data blitz event (~4-minute presentations). Check out the pre-conference webpage for more information!
