The purpose of section student awards is to encourage student members to attend and to recognize the achievement of presenting at the annual CPA convention<\/p>\n
The Aging & Geropsychology Section Student Presentation Awards:<\/p>\n
3 Presentation Awards, each valued at $250:<\/strong><\/p>\n Applicants must be student members of the Aging & Geropsychology section and presenting work related to the general topic of Aging & Geropsychology. One award is designated for a presentation accepted by the Aging & Geropsychology Section. If there are more than 3 applicants, the winners will be determined by lottery.<\/p>\n If there are not enough applicants for the presentation awards, student members of the section who are attending, but not presenting, at the convention will be considered for a Conference Travel Award ($250). Priority for travel awards will be given to students who attend universities 500 km or more from the city in which the conference is being held.<\/p>\n Applicants will be eligible for 1 award per year and a maximum of two awards.<\/p>\n Application Procedure<\/strong> An e-mail indicating that you will be attending the convention, that you are a student member of the Aging & Geropsychology Section, and listing your university and program affiliation.<\/p>\n For the Presentation Awards, please provide a copy of the notification of submission acceptance.<\/p>\n
