Advocacy for Practice

In addition to its advocacy work via its national partnerships and collaborations such as the Health Action Lobby (HEAL) and the Mental Health Table, as well as its Federal/Provincial/Territorial (F/P/T) activities via the Practice Directorate, CPA is involved in a number of advocacy activities on behalf of psychology as a discipline and its members.

Some of these activities include:

  • putting forth a number of briefs, responses and positions on a variety of issues of relevance to the practice of psychology
  • meeting with members of parliament
  • attending various conferences and events, to name a few.
