In addition to its advocacy work via its national partnerships and collaborations such as the Health Action Lobby (HEAL) and the Mental Health Table, as well as its Federal/Provincial/Territorial (F/P/T) activities via the Practice Directorate, CPA is involved in a number of advocacy activities on behalf of psychology as a discipline and its members.
Some of these activities include:
- putting forth a number of briefs, responses and positions on a variety of issues of relevance to the practice of psychology
- meeting with members of parliament
- attending various conferences and events, to name a few.
