Statement of Intent
I am writing to formally express my interest in the position of Administration and Finance Executive. I believe that serving in this capacity would provide me with a multitude of opportunities for professional growth.
Firstly, I am eager to expand my horizons by gaining exposure to new experiences and acquiring skills that will be beneficial in my future endeavors. Secondly, I believe that this position offers a unique learning environment that would greatly enrich my professional development.
With regard to my qualifications, I have a passion for finance and administrative work. Additionally, I am bilingual and have a bicultural background, which has provided me with valuable insights into different cultures and perspectives. Moreover, I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology at McGill University, with an intent to specialize in organizational psychology. This academic background has fostered my interest in optimizing systems and fostering the well-being of individuals within their work environments. I have developed a mindset with the aim of promoting teamwork and having empathy towards the ones I work with. To add onto that, I have been working as the Finance executive for Students In Mind, a mental health organization on campus. This position has allowed me to exercise myself in a number of the skills required for this position such as managing a budget, tracking transactions, scheduling meetings, and more.
I am confident that my skills and qualifications make me a strong candidate for the position of Administration and Finance Executive. I am eager to contribute to the organization's success and to further develop my professional abilities.

Biography
At the outset, allow me to introduce myself. I was born and raised in Montreal, where I was fortunate to receive an education in both French and English. I grew up playing American Football with my neighborhood team and was very involved in the Air Cadet Program. I was in the program from the age of twelve to nineteen which allowed me to gain a number of skills and helped me become the person I am today. Currently, I am enrolled as a first-year student at McGill University, majoring in Psychology with minors in Economics and Behavioral Science.
While I have not historically self-identified as a diligent student, embarking on my studies at McGill has instilled in me a profound recognition of the transformative potential of the next few years. As such, I have dedicated myself with renewed vigor to my academic pursuits. In my first semester, I achieved a 3.9 GPA while actively engaging in extracurricular activities. These activities included participating in events hosted by McGill's Psychology Student Association and Students In Mind, a mental health organization on campus.
My immediate academic goals are to gain admission to McGill's Honor Psychology Program and to complete my Bachelor's degree. Upon graduating, I aspire to specialize in Organizational Psychology and pursue a Master's degree in the field.
Beyond my academic endeavors, I possess a diverse range of personal interests. These include singing in choirs, spending time in nature, practicing the sport of dragon boating, and engaging in martial arts training.
I would like to think of myself as a well rounded person who is always trying to do new things and attain their full potential. I believe that this opportunity would allow me to do so.
