Information: Up to 3 awards of $300 will be given. Eligible applicants must be engaged in studies at an institution that is 300 kilometers or more from the conference site in St. John’s, NL. Draws will be made during the developmental area annual meeting. Recipients must be present at the meeting to receive the travel award.(details of the time and place will be forwarded once finalized)

Information: Up to 4 awards will be available for students giving poster presentations (Gold: $300, Silver: $200; Bronze: $100 (1 or 2 awards)).
Posters will be assessed on the following criteria: quality of visual presentation (visually appealing layout, balance of visual and verbal content, ability to read content from at least 3 feet, sequence/flow of information), clarity and completeness of content, preparation and clarity of 2-3 minute walk through provided by the presenter
Application Procedure: To be eligible, students must be first authors on their posters for the Developmental section. Students must also register to be evaluated for the awards using the following form:

Deadline: June 12, 2025
Information: Two awards will be presented to students giving talks (Gold: $300, Silver: $200).
Presented papers will be assessed on the following criteria: oral communication skills (volume, projection, eye contact with audience, pacing), clarity and organization of the information, flow, selection of key information, use of visual aids to support presentation, practiced (not reliant on reading).
