Each year the section gives awards for outstanding student conference presentations. Typically these are for poster submissions but there are slight variations in the process from year to year. The announcement is typically made in November/December around the time of CPA convention submission. Additional details on the submission process are shared on the website and section mailing list in the spring after convention acceptances are announced. The awards are typically for students who are student affiliates of the Educational and School Psychology section. The prize includes a cash award and a certificate.
