Although brand new as of 2009, CPA’s Section on Extremism and Terrorism is growing quickly in membership as researchers and practitioners are recognizing the need for such a community, and are taking advantage of the benefits the section provides. The section is a community through which information is disseminated on our listserve about conferences, workshops, education and employment opportunities and other information related to the section. As a member, you will also receive our Section’s Newsletter featuring information related to the psychology of Extremism and Terrorism.
The annual cost of membership to the Section is $20 per calendar year. However, full-time students may join at a reduced rate of $5. Membership fees support awards and prizes, as well as the section’s activities connected to the CPA annual convention (e.g., travel costs for invited speakers, hospitality, social events).
