Contingent workers, a group which includes gig workers, contract workers, and temporary foreign workers, are an ever-growing segment of Canada’s workforce. This trend shows no signs of slowing, and as a result there is an increasing need to protect those workers, who are vulnerable to abuse and exploitation.
