I regularly participate in syndicated national radio interviews and appear in a weekly Psychology segment on local television news.

I have authored three treatment manuals, which includes a co-authored APA textbook on psychedelic-assisted therapy.
I have served for several years on the CPA Accreditation Panel and have dedicated much of my career to advancing equity in clinical practice and training. I believe strongly in the importance of advocacy for our profession from within the practitioner community. As someone actively engaged in direct care, supervision, and clinic leadership, I understand the challenges facing clinicians today—from regulatory demands to gaps in culturally-responsive care.
I bring a collaborative mindset, a passion for mentorship, and a deep commitment to excellence in practice. It would be an honour to represent practitioners on the CPA Board of Directors.

President & Principal Consultant at I/O Advisory Services Inc. and Adjunct Professor at Carleton University
One of the assets I’ll bring to the Director-at-Large role is a deep understanding of people-centered leadership, having spent years working with a wide range of organizations to build inclusive and effective work cultures and approaches to leadership. My strategic, empathetic, measured, and courageous approach, combined with my unique perspectives as an I/O psychology practitioner, adjunct professor, and lived experience as a racialized professional, makes me adept at resolving complex challenges like the ones the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) is likely to grapple with in the coming years.
As the Chair of the very active Black Psychology Section of the CPA, I have demonstrated a commitment to promoting knowledge mobilization and mentorship for underrepresented psychologists and students. This uncommon set of qualities, skills, and insights makes me a compelling candidate for the Director-at-Large position on the Board of Directors of the CPA.
