Sections & Community

There are so many ways to contribute to the CPA’s work and activities. The CPA relies heavily on the work of its volunteers who join a Section, Committee, or Task Force; represent an external psychology organization; or run for the CPA’s Board of Directors. Join your CPA colleagues and peers to lend your expertise, lead, learn, network, and ultimately help inform the public and policy makers about psychology’s vast contribution to society.

CPA SECTIONS

The CPA actively encourages groups of members and affiliates with common interests to share those interests within the context of the CPA’s objectives. These groups, termed Sections, provide education, resources, and opportunities to its members and affiliates; they also help develop the national convention’s program and participate in advocacy. CPA TASK FORCES

From time to time, the CPA’s Board convenes Task Forces for a time-limited period to explore various issues. Share your subject matter expertise by joining or contributing to the work of one of the CPA’s Task Forces. Learn more about the CPA’s Task Forces.
