This program includes regulatory legal expense coverage, an important offering, as the majority of claims made against registered psychology practitioners are for complaints made to the regulatory colleges.

Your membership also includes access to a reduced subscription fee for APA’s PsychNET® Gold, which includes 5 research databases.


The ability to develop and strengthen your leadership skills, by running for a seat on the CPA’s Board or joining a CPA Section, Committee or Task Force. If you are a Student Affiliate, you can serve as an Executive of the Student’s Section or as a Student Representative or Mentor.

Applications for the 2019 Membership year are now closed.

If you have a PENDING APPLICATION and require membership for the remaining 2 months of 2019, for liability insurance purposes, please contact the Membership Department at or 613-237-2144 (x324) by November 6th.

If you do not have a pending application in with our membership department, you will be required to wait for the application process for the 2020 Membership Year (January 1st to December 31st, 2020) to open in mid-November.
