MISSION:
The mission of the CPA Section of Psychologists and Retirement is to provide a forum for retired psychologists, for those contemplating retirement and for any psychologist interested in retirement as an area of research or treatment to connect and support one another in their continued contribution to the profession.
GOALS:
- Hosting regular, monthly video meetings that are open to all section members.
- Providing relevant information on current topics on retirement to members.
- Initiating projects that are important to Section members, i.e. developing a FactSheet on retirement, surveying regulatory bodies on the numbers of registered psychologists in light of many of us leaving the workforce, etc.
- Organizing sessions for the CPA’s annual convention
