In our capacity as the largest national association for the science, practice and education of psychology in Canada, we:

- chair and/or sit on numerous mental health and research alliances
- promote psychological science and evidence-based practice

- offer continuing professional development courses and workshops
- approve continuing education providers
- provide resources to the public
- accredit doctoral training programs and internships
- provide member benefits and discounts to preferred vendors
- convene task forces and committees
- support 32 sections
- support psychology students
- provide information to the media
- liaise with partners, psychology representatives, and other psychological associations
- host an annual convention
