With the House of Commons Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage studying Bill S-211 An Act Respecting a National Framework on Sports Betting Advertising, the CPA submitted a Brief which lists five recommendations including a call for an immediate ban on commercial advertising, marketing, and promotion of online gambling, including sports betting online casinos, slots, poker, and other gambling products, through the lawful legislative and regulatory mechanisms available.
