HEAL (National organizations and associations for health action)
- has focused its 2018/19 message to government around seniors and mental health. It was with clear direction from HEAL member organizations that mental health was a consensus priority. That report can be found at https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5cd45467fb22a5107d310b81/t/5cd97027eb393159baa3bd40/1557753898420/Heal_Canadian-Way_2.0_EN_web.pdf
- HEAL also undertook a survey in June 2019 that shows 94% of Canadians support mental health parity. Here is a link to the HEAL news release about the survey https://healthaction.ca/heal-news-releases-blog/federal-budget-2019-healthcare-sector-applauds-focus-on-seniors-b93g8 Here is a link to the survey data on seniors https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5cd45467fb22a5107d310b81/t/5cd972f2e624d80001dfed4b/1557754610509/HEAL—Abacus-Data-2019_second-release-March25.pdf
