The Board of Directors of CPA are sorry to announce the passing of former CPA President, Dr. John Adair (1980). In addition to the role and responsibilities he took on as President of CPA’s Board, Dr. Adair was the inaugural recipient of CPA’s Gold Medal Award for Distinguished Lifetime Contributions to Canadian Psychology (2000) as well as an Honorary Life Fellow of the association. Dr. Adair made significant and celebrated contributions, representing the CPA and Canada, on many international alliances of psychology and scientific societies. The discipline is made better for the achievements, scholarship and leadership of members like Dr. Adair.
