Webinar Recording: Career Path Navigation: How to Become a School Psychologist. Tips and Tricks from those in the Profession
A panel of graduate students and school psychology practitioners and academics will provide valuable information on a variety of exciting careers in school psychology, the academic path and requirements, and the promising job prospects in this field.
The Educational and School Psychology Section of the CPA would like to make advocacy and reaching out easier. During Psychology Month 2022, we are happy to share with you several tools for outreach aiming to provide information about the field of school psychology to general audiences, but with a special focus on undergraduate and high school students.

Who can use the resources?
If you are a school psychologist, or you are teaching or studying in a school psychology graduate program, and have access to undergraduate and/or high school students, or other groups in your community (parents, educators, etc.), you can use these resources to reach out. Why is student outreach needed?
For the past several decades, the field of school psychology has been struggling with a chronic shortage of qualified school psychologists. Although there are many reasons for this shortage, one way of trying to increase the numbers is to familiarize students with school psychology as a potential career choice.
