Led by the Canadian Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health and 49 national health associations and other related organizations, an open letter was sent to The Honourable Carolyn Bennett, Minister of Mental Health & Addictions calling on the federal government to live up to its 2021 election promise to establish a Canada Mental Health Transfer with an initial value of $4.5 billion over the next 5 years.
